The building located on 1140 Franklin Ave is a lovely home built in 1900 by ship builder Ferdinand Fisher and was established as a bed and breakfast in May of 1986. Astoria is such a historic town and every building has incredible architecture, history and a story. Every restoration seems to respect the era of the original structure and this reflects the beliefs of the town and its people and their commitment to Astoria’s history. I am in love with this town. The guesthouse has 6 rooms and each of them has an attached bathroom. Guests will enjoy the uniqueness of each room and share its warm and cozy sun-lit living room with other guests. Beautifully decorated room with patio on the second floor. Sit back and relax in the patio with a view of Columbia river while enjoying a cup of coffee. This room is about 250 sq ft. This room includes: - one queen size bed - patio with Columbia river - table with 2 chairs - private bathroom - coffee machine - microwave - mini fridge - coffee and tea Common area includes: - Dining room - Living sitting area with fireplace - Iron - DVDs for guest to enjoy - Board games - Books While there is no breakfast serve in the boutique hotel, feel free to ask for recommendation. If you need attention, there will be a local manager to assist you. Commercial street - the entertainment hub of Astoria - is just a two-block walk from the guesthouse. Enjoy long river walks, good food, and great beer without ever getting into a car. Walk around the neighborhood gazing at immaculate restorations that respect the original era, reflecting the beliefs of this town, its people and their commitment to Astoria’s history. Near the pier is located conveniently so you can walk to most places. Astoria is relatively flat, it is perfect to ride your bike, it will even get you to amazing places without car. On the street parking is available along the house.
