The original house was built in the 1940s. Rooms were added as needed, in true New Mexican style. The house has really been updated with modern amenities, but it still has that old world charm. We have a very relaxing patio, with a nice BBQ grill. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, and is very user friendly. We signed up for renewable energy through the local utility’s “Sky Blue” initiative. We receive 85% (the highest available) of our electricity through this program. Recently we have begun offering all of our guests EGGS produced on site by 4 lovely hens (when available). These hens are quite a distance from the house, and will not disturb you. You are welcome to walk back to the farm area and have a look! Guest access You can access all two acres of our property. The only area that is off limits, without prior notification, is the storage/casita structure in back. You have all access to the house, front yard, and patio. You can walk back to the orchard, or even stroll around in the pastures. Other things to note We have artwork from a local photographer on walls throughout the house. It adds a special ambiance to the house. The artwork may be purchased as well!
