The king-sized bed and full-sized sofa bed accommodate three. A garage spot fits a compact-sized car. Nearby transport options (Muni T-Line, Bayshore Caltrain stop, Hwy 101 & I-280) facilitate sightseeing; travel to Silicon Valley, the airport or Chase Center; visits to the UCSF medical center; or grocery shopping. The space Perched in the Silver Terrace, this bright and airy unit gets great light throughout the day and offers magic hour sunsets in the evening. The unit within our home houses family and friends during their visits. We also make it available exclusively to Airbnb guests needing a space to stay or create. Welcoming guests from all around the world gives our family flexibility and the opportunity to also travel to far off places. The studio offers a stylish, retro-vibe through its use of dark wood paneling, mellow yellow bar lights and period furnishings. We decorated the space with pieces collected during our own travels that splash color and delight. Many guests regard it as cozy with stunning aesthetic. Producers and creatives rent it to film videos or set stages. Sometimes we wish we could just escape our normal lives and live there. Designed to provide distinct areas to enjoy, the studio offers a bedroom, a sitting and a bar eating area. The panoramic view off the private balcony invites getting lost in a train of thought during a morning coffee or an afternoon breeze. The kitchen is fully equipped. Guests store their goodies in the apartment-sized fridge. Often times indulgent scents of home-prepared meals waft up to our space upstairs when guests use the oven, stove or microwave to cook and warm up meals. A bar next to the kitchen sits three for a meal. And the space, of course, wouldn't be complete, without its pink tiled private bathroom. Please note we do not allow smoking anywhere on the premise. Access to the space is via the garage to our own house. The studio does not suit parties, wild weekend getaways or small, night get togethers. Guest access Access to the studio is through a private entrance via the garage. You will use the keypad on the garage door to open the garage door and a key to your separate door. We share the garage with you and may even bump into you if doing laundry. Other things to note This is an in-law unit below our home. You will likely hear our 3 kids in the morning as they prep for school and romp around in the afternoon (if we're home). The youngest may be heard crying at night. Please note we do not allow smoking anywhere on the premise. Quiet hours are from 10p-7a. Noise carries upstairs and into our elderly neighbors' home so we ask guests maintain minimal noise levels after 10p, even on weekends. Registration Details STR-0002503
