The Haven on The Virginia Creeper Trail

Located on the Virginia Creeper bike trail, we are only a 20 min. drive from the summit of beautiful Whitetop Mtn. If hiking and biking are your thing, this is the place to stay, as we are 3 miles from the Appalachian Trail, and a 20 min. drive to Grayson Highlands state park. Downtown Damascus is a 25 min. drive, and Abingdon is 40 minutes. Both towns have cute shops, restaurants, coffee, parks, and antique stores. Bristol is located approx. 50 min. from our home, and Boone, NC about an hour. The space PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: Repair from Hurricane Helene is currently taking place on the Virginia Creeper Bike Trail. We live beside an access point, so there are signs of construction such as mesh fencing and work vehicles. We would love to host you, and feel certain we can still offer a peaceful, relaxing getaway. We have had several guests stay during construction, and they have reported having a lovely time, despite the ongoing repairs ☺️ Construction is set to be complete by early December 2026. The home contains one bedroom with a queen sized bed. The Airbnb is on the same property as our personal home, and we do have pets. We work hard to give our guests their privacy, but please be aware that we live on the property. Guest access The entire downstairs of the space is set up for guests. There is an upstairs area, but it is currently used by the owners for storage, so we ask that you not go upstairs. There is an upstairs balcony that is accessible from outside. Please feel free to use that. It's a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee, or an evening cocktail.
