This quaint, early 1900's farm house sits among shady trees and overlooks a beautiful pasture and garden. Rock on the porch or roast marshmallows in the fire pit. The parking and turn around are big enough to accommodate a trailer. It's convenient to horse trails, hiking, kayaking, and biking on the beautiful Cumberland Plateau. Big South Fork National Recreation Area, Pickett State Park, Historic Rugby, Muddy Pond, and Sgt. Alvin C. York's Museum and Burial Place are all within 30 minutes. The space This is an early 1900’s farm house. Most of the house still has the original wooden walls and ceilings. There are two bedrooms and a sitting room/office space with a Roku tv. Guests are welcome to use the entire house and both yards. There is a fire pit in the back yard, and I even provide the wood! The house has a mud room when entering from the back porch which is great for taking off your boots. This is also where we have books, games, puzzles and a card table. We also have corral panels set up for horses if needed. Guest access The entire house, contents, and yards are available to the guests. Other things to note We have corral panels set up for horses. If you’re interested, contact me directly. There are camp chairs provided to use around the fire pit. We also have firewood for our guests. Games and books are available. There is no dishwasher.
