Nestled in the hills of Washington County, NY this peaceful off the grid cabin with a screened porch is the perfect weekend get away. Tucked away on a private pond, come stay here to get a taste of the outdoors and get lulled to sleep by the sounds of the country! Enjoy all the space has to offer by bringing charcoal for the grill and enjoying a nice meal on the picnic table! Or start a cozy campfire and roast s’mores. During the winter months hunker down inside cozied up by the wood stove! The space This is a one room cabin equipment with a full mattress, small kitchen table with two chairs and two comfy sitting chairs. Bathroom inside with a composting toilet and 5 gallon jug of water for basic washing needs. Solar light inside. There is a newly installed wood stove for the cooler nights. On the screened porch is 4 sitting chairs to watch the sunset or start night. Bring an air mattress or cots for more then 2 people or add a tent outside! Other things to note There is no electricity in the cabin but there is an overhead solar light and the toilet is a composting toilet. Let us know if you need it emptied during your stay. There is a cooler of water for washing hands or dishes in the bathroom. Please keep an eye on this and empty the container under the sink when full. Let us know if you need a water refill. No shower available, may bring your own portable shower. Bring your drinking water and charcoal for the grill as well as cooking supplies. Kettle, plates, coffee cups and a few silverware are provided. During winter/spring months may need to park and walk about 100 yards due to slippery driving conditions. AT&T service is good, Verizon & others are poor. No WiFi. Please be respectful of the garbage left behind. Queen bed for 2, bring air mattress or cot for additional 2 in the cabin. Or bring some tents to sleep outside!
