Roberson's convenience store in Brownville, Maine onto Church Street. Follow Church Street for 4.7 miles and turn right onto Schoodic Lake Road. Follow Schoodic Lake Road for Approx. 4 miles. Bear right after crossing the railroad tracks and 32 Lake Ave. will be on your left at our mail box. The space We offer a fire pit for those that enjoy roasting marshmallows or hot dogs. For those that enjoy hiking, Gulf Haggas , Borestone Mountain and Appalachian Trails are a short distance away.. You’ll love our place because of Newly renovated cottage on pristine Schoodic Lake that sleeps five in a beautiful handmade (double) bunk bed and one single bed in separate bedroom. Enjoy your morning (wake up) coffee on newly built porch overlooking the lake as the ducks and loons swim past. Enjoy your morning swim (50' away) by walking directly into the shallow water in front of the deck. (Ideal for young children) Deeper water further out in the lake with no drop-offs. Comfy cottage has dishes, pots & pans, silverware, glasses, toaster, coffee pot, refrigerator, stove, TV and internet available - everything for an enjoyable stay. Bring your own boat that can be launched at the public landing one lot away. We have dock space to tie your boat up. Great for fishermen and all kinds of water sports. Once on the lake, great views of Mt. Katahdin and the Appalachian Trail mountain range that are spectacular. Sportsmen love fishing for bass, lake trout, trout and salmon. Be sure to bring your fly rod too! Cameras are a must when traveling to Dead man's Rock, and standing on the enormous sawdust pile left behind by the Merrick Spool company of the 1800’s. Bring your own ATV. ATV trails that will take you all over the state are just up the street from your cottage. We open May 15th of each year and close October 1 unless prior arrangements are made with the owner. Cottage has a flat screen TV . It has an Amazon Fire TV box so if you have an Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc account bring your account number and password and watch News, Movies or music to your hearts content. Our new internet provider has unlimited data over our fantastic WIFI system. We love dogs here for a nominal cleaning fee ($25 per dog) with a few rules. 1. Dogs must be kept on a leash while outside the cottage or taken out for their daily duties. Bags will be supplied to pick up their waste that can be disposed of in a provided separate METAL garbage can. 2. Dogs may be off leash TO SWIM as long as the owner keeps an eye on them and not allowed to wander over to another owners land. Should this happen, the dogs owner must pick up any waste promptly with bags supplied. 3. Dogs must be tied to a tree should owner have to leave them unattended for any reason. 4. Pets are not allowed on any furniture or left in the cottage should guests leave the area for any amount of time. If guest wants to bring more than five people, we do allow them to bring a small camper for them to sleep in. The cost for the camper will be $10 a night and $22 dollars a day for each additional person. Towels and wash cloths will not be supplied for the extra guests. Please let your host know in advance of your stay if you will be bringing a camper and the number of additional guests.
