Mulberry House is nestled in the lush mountains of NC and the heart of waterfall country. The home offers privacy and comfort on a wooded almost 1 acre with a year round creek at the back of property. Ideally located 5 miles away from the entrance to Pisgah National Forest with hiking, biking, kayaking and fishing. Restaurants and breweries are close by. The space Newly renovated lower level with a private entrance, featuring a separate driveway accented by the mulberry tree at the street. Great room with electric fireplace, SmartTV for streaming with your video accounts, plus Samsung TV Plus, free WiFi, and Verizon booster in an open-concept living area. Fully equipped kitchen with full size range and refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and washer/dryer combo.(laundry detergent provided) The dining area has seating for 4-6 with room to catch up on emails or work remotely at the dining table or a newly added dedicated work space in one bedroom The space features a split bedroom plan separated by the living/dining area with ceiling fans in each room. The queen size memory foam beds feature high thread count sheets, down and fiberfill pillows with allergy pillow protectors. The outdoor covered patio offers peace and quiet to sip your morning coffee and listen to the birds or view the white squirrels that frequent the neighborhood. There is a fire pit(firewood provided) to spend the evenings by the fire and a propane grill to cook out. No smoking, no pets If you are visiting with children and need a highchair, portacrib, changing pad or toys, we have it all. Just let me know what you might need, we will have it ready for your little ones upon arrival. Note: Do you have more than 4 guests or looking for more space and an additional bedroom? We offer a 3rd bedroom furnished with twin bunk beds, the room is set up for younger guests with books and toys but can easily accommodate adults. Each bunk has a standard twin size memory foam mattress with a weight limit of 200lbs for each bed for safety reasons. An additional $20 per night for more than 4 guests or an additional room, if you need more space. Message me for more details. Guest access Private entrance at lower level with key at lockbox. Other things to note The upper level is occupied by Sharon, her husband, Kevin, and their dog, Libby. Libby will bark once or twice when she hears a car on the driveway as a way of greeting or letting us know you have arrived. If she is out on the deck above the lower patio you will see her wag her tail too. You will see and hear us occasionally outside or footsteps inside.
