Welcome to our newly remodeled basement guest suite on a quiet street in the heart of South Minneapolis. The location is wonderfully walk-able to the coffee shops and restaurants of Uptown and Eat Street. NEW PRIVATE ENTRANCE along side of home. A Cozy bespoke space with heated concrete floors ideal for use as an affordable place to sleep while passing through town or as a home base for exploring the Twin Cities. The space A unique, newly remodeled space with great attention to style and detail. Features include: Hand-made Art, Polished, heated concrete floor, exposed brick and beams, various lighting zones, and repurposed wood walls. You'll enjoy clean, organic, high-quality bedding, atop a new queen-sized Plush Wink Bed mattress, complete with both down and Tempurpedic pillows. Bathroom has a large tile shower and antique vanity, fresh towels and each booking will get their own sample of zero waste shampoo/soap/shave bar for their stay. We also have a small hair dryer. Small dining area has seating for two. Kitchenette (work in progress) comes with coffeemaker/tea/toaster/sink/fridge/ microwave/utensils in your space (It's not a full kitchen yet, but we stock it with coffee, creamer, and simple items breakfast items; if you aren't going out for coffee at five-watt or Gigis; but you should;) If needed, a laundromat just 2 blocks away. IMPORTANT NOTES TO CONSIDER: There is not a TV in this space, however, we have fiber Wifi for all your streaming needs! Private entrance opens to stair landing; you need to go down a narrow flight of stairs to get into this space. There is not an AC, but it is garden level and stays cool. Fan is provided if needed. People live upstairs. This is not a completely silent space. And while we strive to limit the times and level of noise above you, please expect to occasionally hear the muffled talking and/or walking on the floors above you. We provide ear plugs in case you are sensitive. There is ample street parking in front of the house. Guest access Fully private garden-level guest suite. Use side entrance and electronic keypad for 24-hour private access. Enter on the West side (between corner house and behind the cedar fence on your right). Set up to be an artsy, funky guest suite. Other things to note You will likely hear and people talking/walking above you. They work in service industry and come/go occasionally, but are very respectful. New Private Entrance (not "shared" as listed). Enter along West Side of house through cedar gate. Registration Details Exempt
