Laurel Escape at Cannon Beach

Welcome to our home in Cannon Beach! We love the joy this special place brings us & hope to share that with you. You'll enjoy the quality cookware, furniture, board games, books & a family-friendly place along with the quieter pace of Cannon Beach’s north end while still only 1 block from the beach and quick walk to the main town. The space Airbnb's system and our local regulations that limit home sharing make the calendar a little hard to navigate, so if you don't see availability for dates you're interested in, please inquire and we can help sort it out. Generally, stays must start on a Friday or Saturday, every other week. Thanks! ABOUT THE HOUSE Our home is centered around the open kitchen/living room with a lovely vaulted ceiling, plenty of couch and table seating, and a fully equipped kitchen complete with regular amenities like a dishwasher, coffee maker, large capacity fridge/freezer, high quality appliances, gas stove and oven, microwave, and our favorite: a big island with a nice prep sink. The living room also features a natural gas fireplace and a 45" TV with Roku and Apple TV along with Sonos speakers for your enjoyment. Off the kitchen you'll find our back deck, hands down our favorite spot in the home. With much of it covered, it's enjoyable even on rainy days. We have seating for 8 around the table, plus four chairs to relax in and a coffee table for morning coffee and sunshine (the deck faces east, so you get great sunrises on it!). We have a natural gas grill for your use as well. The master bedroom features a king bed, end tables each with iPhone/watch chargers, a dresser, mirrors and an en-suite bathroom. The bath is a freshly remodeled extra large shower with double shower heads and a nice teak bench. It's the BEST after a fun day at the beach! Our main level also has two additional bedrooms with a shared bathroom in between that serves as a powder room as well. Each bedroom features a king size bed, night stands, nearby power outlets, and a closet. The front room also has a small working desk in case you need to do some "work from home" while you're in our home :) Upstairs is the "bunkroom", hands down our kids' favorite place in the house. If you have a big family like ours, you'll appreciate the four bunk beds providing up to eight berths. The bunkroom has its own en-suite bathroom and shower, as well as a 55" flat-screen TV. Guest access You'll have access to our home including the inside, back deck, side and front decks and gated and fenced front yard. Garage access can potentially be accommodated on a case by case basis with prior arrangement. Other things to note Max of 3 vehicles for our guests and no street parking nearby out of respect for our neighbors. Our home is NOT a place for parties or being loud during city quiet hours of 10pm - 8am. Please note that we may need to access the garage and use/share the Tesla charger during your stay. There is an outside access door to the garage so if we do need to get in, we won't need to go through the house and disrupt your space, and we'll do our best to communicate in advance if we do need to come by to get something from the garage.
