Gibson Bridge Farm c. 1747 is an exquisite example of historic Chester County architecture. Guests enjoy the peace and privacy of 17 pristine acres just minutes from downtown West Chester with all of its restaurants, breweries, shopping and special events. The lower level apartment is fully equipped and sleeps 6 and overlooks manicured lawns and a pathway to the pond. It's a great spot for reading, relaxing, and enjoying nature. Guests may enjoy the use of the front and rear patios, the area around the pond and the open space around the barn. Guests can check themselves in using the lockbox. The host is on-site and is available to answer any questions. Interaction can be as little or as much as you want. We are located in the beautiful and historic Brandywine River Valley with it's myriad of attractions. There is a paved walking and biking trail along the Brandywine which is a three minute walk from the property. Canoeing and kayaking on the Brandywine is available 15 minutes away. Longwood Gardens, the Brandywine River Museum, Winterthur, Valley Forge Park, Marsh Creek State Park and many other local points of interest are 30 minutes or less by car. Lancaster County Amish country is 30 minutes west. There is a large and very friendly poodle who may greet you upon arrival. He does not have access to your space.
