The space Our spacious one bedroom apartment is the perfect space from which to enjoy all that Sedro-Woolley has to offer. Guests of our space enjoy hiking in the North Cascades National Park, quick trips to Bellingham (about 30 minutes away) and easy access to surrounding areas, including Burlington & Mount Vernon. The oversized bedroom features west facing windows that offer beautiful natural lighting (and shades for sleeping). There's a walk in closet to store all our belongings, with clothes hangers, shelves, hooks & luggage racks. A bedside table on either side of the bed hosts lamps with USB plugs for charging. The full kitchen includes a microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and gas cook stove. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots & pans. We also offer complimentary coffee & tea, with sugar and creamer. You'll find basic cooking amenities like salt, pepper, and olive oil, but anything beyond that we recommend bringing yourself, which you can pick up at one of the local grocery stores. The kitchen features plenty of counter space, which makes meal prepping a breeze. Eating space is at the kitchen island, which is furnished with two bar stools. There is an additional counter space located just off the kitchen, which can make for a great workspace. The TV nook features a large, cozy sectional, with lots of soft blankets, and a smart TV for your streaming enjoyment. The bathroom features a large walk-in shower, (no bathtub) and a large vanity. With east facing windows, you'll get lots of soft morning light. It also includes a full size washer and dryer, which you are welcome to use. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are both complimentary. There's a hair dryer and first aid kit located in the bathroom cabinets. You'll have the entire apartment to yourselves; but please note the apartment is locate above a detached garage (which is currently used as storage, so no cars going in and out). Because it's located above our garage, you will need to go up the stairs to get to the main space, but the second floor location gives you extra privacy. A ductless mini-split offers the comforts of air conditioning in the warmer months, and zone heating for the cooler months. Guest access The guests have access to the apartment, and the deck located off the second story. There isn't any yard space, and anything located within the fence of the main property is off limits to guests, and reserved for the residents of the main house. Other things to note The apartment has a dedicated Amazon Alexa & Pandora station for your use/enjoyment.
