We invite you to our rustic and serene cabin in the woods. It is surrounded by 3 beautiful acres. Located in a quiet and private area. We love to host those looking for a peaceful getaway, guests traveling through, and solo and family adventurers. The space Peaceful, Semi private property surrounded by woods with a gated drive. 800 sq ft converted donkey stable to a rustic cabin. Close to the beautiful parks in Vermilion county: Kickapoo state park, Kennekuk county park, and Forest Glen county park. The Kickapoo Rail trail entrance from the fairgrounds is also a beautiful, scenic stroll. We are located within 5 miles of downtown Danville, 30 miles east of Champaign, IL and 90 miles west of Indianapolis, IN Guest access We welcome you to utilize the cabin, beautiful covered porch, and explore the surrounding outdoor area. Enjoy sitting on the porch swing watching for wildlife or enjoying your morning coffee on our rocking chairs. There is an outdoor area with campfire and unlimited firewood for you to use. A charcoal grill is also provided. We have included a corn hole and checkers. Inside the cabin has an assortment of games and dvds. Other things to note We hope you enjoy the quiet and beauty of the Midwest. We encourage you to unplug, relax, enjoy a good book and use this space as a peaceful getaway spot, while still close to town. We do have a tv and a DVD player. There is no WiFi, but a small satellite. If you are wanting to log in to a streaming service, you will have to access to your own hotspot. The satellite picks up a few stations. There is a good variety of dvds to watch. The water pressure at the cabin does decrease when running more than one faucet at a time. It also takes about a minute to return back to normal pressure after flushing the toilet.
