Kenwood Oaks Cottage-Pet Friendly, Great Location

PLEASE NOTE: This listing is only available for a minimum of 31 consecutive nights or more. This beautifully appointed Cottage is on a former horse ranch, located just 7/10 of a mile off of the Highway, w/o the road noise, street lights, & at the end of a private roadway. < 3 miles from 20+ wineries & tasting rooms! Cottage is private & fully equipped w/ kitchen, A/C, WiFi, pots/pans, flatware, cable TV, & W/D. Large, walk-in closet, vaulted ceiling in the LR, & skylights throughout.TOT#470N The space Perfect for an extended stay to visit pastoral Sonoma Valley, the Cottage is private, quiet and restful, yet one can walk to several tasting rooms, wineries and restaurants. (15-30 minutes on foot and 3 minutes by car). We have had a large variety of people from all around the globe stay here over the years, including wine enthusiasts (of course!), artists, writers, visiting winemakers, chefs, people in transition, people healing from illness/surgery, scientists, athletes in training, cyclists, equestrians and nature lovers. We offer a serene and beautiful place to call "home" while you are here. You will be in the heart of Sonoma Valley's grape growing region, enjoying sunny days surrounded by nature and cool nights under the brilliant stars. Easy access to the towns of Kenwood, Glen Ellen, Sonoma, Santa Rosa and beyond, to Napa, Healdsburg, and the Russian River. It is only an hour to the Coast, and about the same to San Francisco. Several outstanding hiking spots are a short drive from our property, including 3 state parks (Jack London, Sugarloaf and Annadel) and several Sonoma County Regional Parks. Guest access There is ample off-street parking, a fenced area for your dog, and you can look out your windows and see Nature all day and night long! We have a 31 night minimum stay at all times, and of course, are available for longer stays. Please note that the standard cleaning fee will be increased for longer stays, and for pets with long hair/shedding, and/or multiple pets. Other things to note The Cottage is ideally suited for one person and one dog. We do not allow cats. A second dog will be considered for an additional charge. Couples are welcome, however the maximum occupancy is 2 persons. Please tell us when requesting your booking about your pet(s), such as what breed, age, and the pet's approximate size. Once you have shared this information with us, we will send you our "Pet Practices Please" document that specifically outlines our pet policy. You will need to agree to these simple practices before we can accept your booking. Thank you. We LOVE pets and are happy to work with you to accommodate any special needs you/your pet may have. Please feel free to discuss, in advance, any concerns you may have about bringing your pet. After almost 20 years of offering a pet friendly lodging and having hosted hundreds of pets and their people, we likely can work out whatever concerns you may have. :-) Pets visiting here must be well-behaved and on-leash when outdoors except when closed in the large dog run in front of The Cottage. This property is not suitable for puppies, dogs that are not 100% housebroken, untrained dogs, or dogs that are not accustomed to travel. Excessive, uncontrolled barking, howling, whining, and/or whimpering is not permitted. Please be sure to always pick up after your pet(s). If your pet is not going to be in your company at least 90% of the time that you will be here then please, PLEASE let us know your intentions in advance :-) Please note that we welcome you and are happy to work with you about your pet(s) being here when you are not, however, we require that pets be crated when left indoors unattended. IMPORTANT NOTE: Our Cottage is very nice inside and out, and lots of people also stay here without pets. That said, consideration of others is key to a successful stay here with your pet(s).
