Eco-Friendly bathroom essentials provided. * If your trip needs extra days, please ask! even when sold-out. I have other rooms in the house that I can make available. The space The house is a restoration of a Victorian era mansion built in 1885. The Parlor floor (2nd flr) is a rendering of the 1885 feel, with original moldings, wainscoting, pocket door... It is also the theater of a permanent Art Exhibit by renown sculptors & painters. Guest access IMPORTANT: NYC Building Code only allows for "Privacy Locks" on the room doors. Keyed locks are unlawful. During your stay I live & work on the 3rd floor and am always available. The house has no other permanent occupant, but only the possible tenants in my two other listings on the 4th and 5th floors. Occasionally, the parlor floor serves as set for FILM SHOOT, which may require some a little bit of coordination with the filmmakers when moving around. On rare occasions, Filmmakers may request a brief use of your space, which you can either accept or reject. Other things to note The Jacuzzi tub serves more as a backup to the shower rather than a must-have whirlpool experience -no matter how tempting it may be. Think of it as "Sparing & Sharing": Sparing the 500 gallons of water it takes to fill it. And Sharing the bathroom with the occupant(s) of the room across the hall.
