Our recently remodeled home in the Olympus Cove neighborhood is one of a kind. Built in the 1960’s, this old house has such charm. We are 20 min from downtown Salt Lake and the Airport. We are 30 min to Utah’s famous ski slopes and the canyons in summer for hiking and biking are extraordinary! There’s so much to do in Salt Lake City, outdoors and in. Come spend some time in Utah and find out why we love living in the “Cove”. The space Our home is a 60+ year old home that has been remodeled for comfort, but it still has that split-entry charm! The area is on the east bench of the Salt Lake Valley. We are nestled under Mount Olympus with views of the Salt Lake Valley. It is a premier location, close to downtown, to the airport, to the ski resorts. Olympus Cove neighborhood is a sought after place to live for its good neighbors, good schools and prime location. The neighborhood is quiet but friendly. We have a living room upstairs and a family downstairs. 3 bedrooms upstairs, 1 downstairs, 2 baths up and 1 bath down. There is a large kitchen/dining area upstairs and a small kitchen downstairs. The view from the front patio is lovely for sunsets is a lovely way to spend a summer’s evening. And the back yard has been left very wooded. Our grandchildren love to play in the backyard. It feels like a small forest for treasure hunts and looking for squirrels and rabbits. Guest access You will have full access to indoor and outdoor areas. The small hot tub is not for guest use. The garage is not for guest use. Park in the driveway. Two small closets downstairs are locked for some personal items. Other things to note You will have a great time in our beautiful Salt Lake home. The kitchen is stocked with plates, utensils, pans, really everything you would need to cook. There is a BBQ in the backyard in good weather and a spare propane tank in the garage. Towels and linens are provided. Toys are in the grandkid room. Please clean these up. There are a lot of small pieces and a real time suck for the cleaning crew. Games are in the game console in the living room. I will put instructions for the 2 fireplaces underneath the photo of both fireplaces in the photos of each. The home is 60 years old so we ask all guests to always triple flush the toilets when using, this helps the older sewer system drain adequately.
