A peaceful getaway, ideal for families and small groups. Convenient to Rhinebeck, Red Hook, Tivoli, Bard College, Omega Institute, hiking, swimming, skiing, farm stands, berry and fruit-picking, and more. The space Originally constructed in 1790, Feather Farm features beautiful hand-hewn beams and original plank flooring. Situated just off of a serene country road, it faces a neighboring pond which is home to migratory birds and wildlife. Feather Farm has been modernized, with high-speed wifi, an HD projector with 100-inch retractable screen, and a multi-room Sonos sound system. House includes a large deck, a custom cedar hot tub, a gas grill, a fire pit, 3-season outdoor shower, tons of outdoor games, and an extensive board game library. Nights in the tent are a magical experience; with a stargazer roof and a 360 degree soundscape of birds and wildlife, it's a bedroom at the foot of the forest. Guest access Full house access. No access to the barn and cellar. Other things to note Sleeping arrangements are 2 bedrooms with queen beds, 1 bedroom with a double bed, 1 roll-out twin bed, and an additional sleeping loft in the den. The tent is seasonal (available May-November) and contains 2 single beds.
