The condo features 24 foot arched windows with a Southern exposure (lots of sun and great views of downtown GR), an outdoor balcony with great views of the city and two oversized adirondack chairs waiting for your arrival, original gym floors, old school lockers, exposed brick walls, metal trusses, and amazing architecture in the unit and throughout the building. Your 3rd floor suite includes more than 500 square feet of living space, featuring a private bedroom, bathroom, loft/lounge and library. The bedroom includes a queen size bed with a plush, pillowtop mattress and high end linens, matching dresser and bedside table, and work desk. The room is stocked with extra pillows, blankets, custom artwork and a dimmer switch on the lights so you can set the perfect mood during your stay. Your private bathroom is fully stocked with feel-good bath and beauty products. The loft is a perfect for lounging or working, equipped with a cozy loveseat, plasma TV with HD cable and HBO, and a snack size refrigerator, stocked with water, soda and samples of our world famous craft beer. We provide a generous snack basket with fresh fruit, sweet and savory products (including oatmeal and granola) gluten free treats and a gourmet coffee and tea station. The only restricted access is 1 bedroom suite which is reserved for the owners when they are at the property. Brian and Erica are available to answer questions and give recommendations on their favorite places in the city! Union Square is a vibrant and diverse community filled with creatives, entrepreneurs, young professionals, empty nesters, and social change agents. Many in our community are passionate about living, working, playing and investing in our neighborhood, the historic westside. You are within walking distance of all the hotspots to dine and dance. We live in the historic West Side, a vibrant revitalizing neighborhood filled with local brew pubs, coffee shops, and retail. There are lots of great restaurants within walking distance, including some of the best burgers, pizza, Mexican, Indian, and Polish and Italian cuisine. For the night owls, dance the night away at your neighborhood club or listen to live jazz, blues or rock and roll at one of our downtown venues. We are just a few blocks from the River and downtown GR. Union Square is a 10 minute walk to center city, and right outside your doorstep is a permanent stop on the award winning Rapid bus line. We also have bike racks and an Uber driver in the building! Union Square is conveniently located 1 mile from our public transit center where you can arrive/depart by bus or rail if you are using public transportation to get in and out of the city. One of our core values is to give back to our local community. This is a big part of why we started our Airbnb.
