Located in the heart of downtown Royal Oak and overlooking Whittier Park, this charming 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home offers a comfortable layout. Walk in minutes to downtown Royal Oak's restaurants, music venues, shopping, movie theater, farmers market, library and more. With the central location, you can travel to downtown Detroit in 20 minutes or explore neighboring communities on the Woodward corridor in under ten minutes. Relaxing on the covered porch is a great way to enjoy the night! The space When you arrive at Whittier Park Place, you'll have access to the driveway and the ample (free!) street parking. A covered front porch includes seating in warmer weather and gives you a view of the sunset over the park. Fresh paint and hardwood flooring throughout give the house a clean, bright and airy feeling. The living room is decorated in mid-century Scandinavian style and includes a comfortable sofa and chairs to curl up in. The television has Google Chromecast so that you can stream directly from your phone, tablet or computer. Look for the Chromecast icon to appear in your favorite streaming apps while connected to the Wi-Fi. The dining room overlooks the park and has seating for 4. Additional chairs, booster seats or a high chair is available. The kitchen is small, but functional. You'll find everything you need to cook or serve a meal. If you need anything - ask! In most cases I can provide it. I keep a stock of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cream, sugar, and stevia. I also have cooking essentials like olive oil, salt, pepper and other seasonings available for you to use. You'll sleep well in the two comfortable bedrooms with quality linens and both soft and firm pillows. If you're traveling with children and need a pack and play, let me know! The fenced in yard gives you your own outdoor space. Patio furniture and a grill is available once the weather permits.
