Just 35 minutes from Downtown Houston and less than a mile to the Kemah boardwalk. Multiple outdoor patios, balconies and landings to enjoy the bay views from. The space As you arrive at the property, you are greeted by a gorgeously landscaped garden with fountain. The home has an attached garage with tall ceilings and plenty of space to park multiple cars and small water craft. The home features large floor to ceiling windows throughout, providing for lots of light and wonderful direct views of the bay. The home’s first and second floors boast large covered patio and balcony seating areas that extend the width of the house and partially wrap around the sides. These outdoor areas have various patio furniture seating and dining options. The first floor has tall ceilings and features three bedrooms, two of which have king size beds with adjoining private full bathrooms and a third small bedroom with twin over full size bunkbeds and access to a half bath a couple steps away. The first floor also has a large open concept living room that leads into a full kitchen and dining table. Beautiful views of the water are visible from the living room and kitchen, which features a stainless fridge, oven, cooktop, microwave and dishwasher. Even taller ceilings greet you on the 2nd floor where one finds the home’s main kitchen, massive living room with gas log fireplace, dining room and wet bar. The 2nd floor kitchen features stainless steel appliances including a large oven with six-burner gas cooktop, dishwasher, built-in fridge, warming drawer, microwave and countertop oven. The wet bar is situated off the kitchen, by the grand living room, and features a granite bar top, ice maker, wine cooler with dual temperature settings, and two beverage fridges. The enormous living room with gas log fireplace and adjoining dining room offer a great space for entertaining or relaxing with family and friends. The entire north wing of the 2nd floor is home to the enormous primary bedroom with exceptionally tall ceilings and gas log fireplace, as well as direct access to a balcony overlooking the bay. The bedroom’s ensuite bath features a jacuzzi tub, large open walk-in shower, secondary shower, dual vanities and multiple closets. A fifth bedroom is situated on the 3rd floor accessed via a spiral staircase and is appointed with a queen size bed and adjoining full bath. The third floor also has two large padded benches located on either side of the third floor landing, that can be used for naps or potentially even sleeping, if needed. An elevator provides access to the first and second floors as well as the landing in between the 1st and 2nd floors. It does not reach the 3rd floor, however. *Guests requiring use of elevator must provide advance notice of such so that keys allowing for its operation can be provided. Glass sliding doors lead out to an expansive 2nd floor balcony and 1st floor patio with dining table and grill. Take in the vast water views and sights of sailboats and wildlife (including pelicans, cranes and dolphins). **Please note that the effects of several hurricanes this past summer unfortunately destroyed the pier. We are currently working on the redesign and rebuild of the pier and palapa.** We currently offer “Hulu+ Live TV” to our guests on 6 flat screen HDTVs. It is available on both living room TVs, upstairs and downstairs. Also, all the bedrooms, with the exception of the bunk bed room, has access to it. House Rules: Parties, events, gatherings or any sort of loud get-togethers are forbidden. We ask that guests be mindful & respectful with respect to noise levels. No additional guests (other than those included on the reservation) may visit the property, unless permission is obtained for others to visit. Guests & Visitors may not venture onto neighbors' property, particularly: neighbors' driveways, piers, bulkheads, boat ramps and boat ramp steps. Guests and Visitors agree to fully indemnify Neighbors and the Bay House Owners from any harm that may arise from using or accessing Neighbors’ property. The booking party agrees to the waiver of Neighbors' and the Bay House Owners' liability by reserving the property, and agrees to do so on behalf of all Guests and Visitors. Pets are welcome! Please, however, let us know what kind of pets and the number of pets that will be staying at the home, prior to booking. There is a $350/pet Pet Fee. Airbnb only captures the charges for one pet when making a reservation, so if there are additional pets, we will follow up with a request for the additional pet fees post booking. Please do not allow your pets on the furniture or bedding. We are pet owners ourselves and love them, but out of respect for other guests that are allergic to pet dander, we ask that you please have them stay off the furniture. In addition to the issue of allergies, it’s easy for pets to scratch furniture, often inadvertently.
