The house is a cozy 1930's French-inspired home in Northfield, bordered by Winnetka, Wilmette and Glenview, located 20 miles north of Chicago's downtown. With easy access to I-94 (less than 5 minutes), the house is nestled beside a forest preserve with a bike trail, leading to the Botanic Gardens to the north and Chicago to the south. It is a 5-minute drive to the beach and Metra train station which goes downtown. There are several restaurants and a supermarket close by that are walkable. The space The house is two stories with the bedrooms upstairs. The backyard is spacious and tree-filled and totally fenced in and private. There is a tenant in a separate unit in the basement with a separate entrance with whom you will have no interaction nor hear nor share any living space. Guest access The entire house is accessible including the washer and dryer in the basement; however, the rest of the basement is not accessible.
