Simply put, our cottage is second to none. Live simply in our two story cottage on the lake while enjoying the warm summer breeze. Read a book in the hammock while your sun kissed skin stings with aloe. Enjoy a nice swim in the lake or sit at the dinner table with your computer working away in a new environment just different enough to break up the monotony of the “work from home” model we are all so very tired of. When you walk in, you will be greeted by the main living area with a massive vaulted ceiling, fire place and two comfy couches. To the right is the updated kitchen with stove, microwave and a fridge. The pots and pans are older but still work and look just fine. Remember, you're living simply up here. The bedrooms are all made up for you with fresh linens and a washer/dryer should something spill. The deck spans the entire back portion of the house and overlooks the lake and was completely rebuilt just 2 years ago. You will find the laundry room in the basement of the house as well as a third bedroom with matching twin beds. We will be available by phone for your entire stay. The closes one of us lives an hour away so if you think you need something, please call as soon as you possibly can so we can help you as soon as possible. Our cottage is one of 7 on top of the hill. It is very quiet, cozy and private. If someone is up there with you, they just might become your newest friend. In town, the main grocery store is the Country Market where you will be able to get anything and everything you need for your stay. Our favorite restaurant is the Beach Bar. Cannot go wrong with their tomato soup. The world-famous Michigan International Speedway is just a 15-minute drive from our front door so if you're a race fan, go check it out. Everything you could ever need is within a 15-minute drive to town.
