Built in 1943, The Hyde-O-Way is one of the oldest and most original camps on the lake. From 40 feet above, you’ll view the lake like you’re in a tree fort along 185 feet of private waterfront. The property sits in the Adirondack Mountains, in a calm cove, perfect for swimming, kayaking and fishing. NO CLEANING FEES, NO CAMERAS, NO BS. The space The home layout sits as a two bedroom with an open queen studio. The master bedroom features a queen bed with a closet, air conditioning, and private entrance to the deck. The other bedroom has single size plush mattress bunk beds and a closet. Lastly, a queen plush mattress is available in the open area for an additional sleeping option. Despite being small, the bathroom offers all the necessities - toilet, shower, sink, and plenty of fresh towels and washcloths. During spring and fall rentals, the pellet stove is available to give the cabin a cozy and beautiful ambiance. Detailed instructions are available in the welcome booklet, or I am happy to come by to show how to use it person. Cell service is spotty as you approach the cabin, but once you get here you will enjoy 400 mbps of internet speed, which can sustain up to at least 10 devices simultaneously. Additionally, a land line is available for use. I give my guests space but am available when needed. We live next door, approx 50 yards away, off of a shared driveway easement. The cabin is very private and we don't mind a little noise. We are available by phone call or text. We do not have cameras on the property. NOTE * Water levels fluctuate due to the lake being a reservoir.
