This 400 sq ft TINY vintage house is SMALL, clean, and cozy but you will find everything you need including a Keurig for your morning cup of coffee. Perfect for one person or a couple. ( Babies/toddlers/children are NOT suitable for this location due to the gas burning heater).This is an older home built in the late 1940s. There are 3 front steps on the outside so if you have mobility issues, this house may not be for you. The inside is updated but the floors are still older vintage wooden floors. This adds to it's simple tiny charm! Please understand that a tiny home is tiny! Everything about it is TINY! INCLUDING THE BATHROOM( it does have a fullsize tub)!!! It's great for one or two people but it is not a big space. So if you are looking for a bigger space this is not for you! There is a queen memory foam bed in the bedroom which has a feather down topper on to make it extra soft . A washer/dryer is provided for your convenience along with a full kitchen to cook in. There is no dishwasher so dishes are washed by hand. Tv trays and a small bistro set are provided in the living room for your dine in pleasure. The gas burning stove provides heat and ambiance in the winter! A window air conditioner is in the bedroom and is only available June through October . Our climate does not require AC the rest of the year. The TV in the living room has streaming with a Roku. The instructions are by the TV .Two well behaved dogs are allowed during your stay. Please disclose that you have dogs when booking and please follow the Pet Rules. For guests traveling with dogs staying 2 or more nights( even with good reviews) OR new guests with no reviews, a refundable security deposit of $150 or more will be required. It is returned after checkout if the house is returned free of damage. However if there is damage, I will be contacting you to remedy the situation.(NO CATS allowed at all due to allergies)The yard is fenced and gated. For those who have animal allergies, be aware that though the house is thoroughly sanitized after each guest, we cannot guarantee there will be no pet allergens. There are also two 24/7 outside security cameras at the entrance of the house for security purposes and are checked at check in and again at check out. The house is located close to downtown and a main street. There is a high school and a college just down the road so during the day there can be lots of traffic. It does slow down significantly at night but if you don't like traffic, this is not the Airbnb for you. This is a NO SMOKING property! There is only a small , small portion of grass in the front. STAYS of 2 - 3 weeks will be required to pay an extra $125 cleaning fee. *Monthly Discount** Must have positive Airbnb reviews. Security Deposit and extra cleaning fee of $200 will be required. There are lots of different sites to see in Elko including the California Trail Center, Cowboy Museum, the Western Folklore Center (Home of Cowboy Poetry), and the Northeastern Nevada Museum. I want your stay to be a pleasant one!! This is a wonderful neighborhood with older neighbors who live a quiet life. The college and high school are close by so there can be heavy traffic during the day coming and going to the schools. It does quiet down at night. The best way to get around is by car. The gas fireplace heats the entire home but if you close the bedroom door at night you will need to use the larger space heater located in the closet . Air conditioner is not installed until the end of May and removed the first of October. We have snow most of the year . A video is taken of the house before and after each guests stay. This is done for customer satisfaction purposes. There are 2 security cameras at the front entrance outside. They are checked at check in and again at check out. Please be aware of that.
