Postcard Place in Pawhuska

Postcard Place is a 3-bedroom (1 bath) home conveniently located near the Mercantile in Pawhuska. Our home is thoroughly cleaned, has comfy beds, a well-stocked kitchen, stylish decor, and plenty of room to relax and unwind. We have thought of everything you'll need, including a coffee bar, extra charging cords, bathroom amenities, fans, cable tv, distilled water (for C-PAPS), throw blankets, and more! Note: Postcard Place is not suitable for more than 5 guests, smokers, pets, or infants. The space Conveniently located right in Pawhuska and just a 2 ½ minute drive from The Pioneer Woman Mercantile and 10 minutes from the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve, Postcard Place is a craftsman-style brick home built in the early 1900s. Our home has an updated, open, and airy kitchen/dining area, a comfy living room, and a sunny front room that is perfect for coffee sipping or reading. Guests often compliment our decor which includes modern farmhouse goods along with a few antiques from our grandparents. There are three bedrooms (king, queen, and two XL twin beds) that all have luxurious bedding, ceiling fans, and extra pillows/throws/bed coverings. While there is just one bathroom, we've equipped two of the bedrooms with spaces to get ready (i.e. desk, mirror, make-up mirror, hair dryer, etc.). The bedrooms do not have TVs, but there is a Smart TV in the living room. There are two outdoor spaces for you to enjoy during your stay. Our covered front porch has two gliders and extra folding chairs. The back deck has a small table and chairs and a gas grill with grilling tools/accessories. Light fixtures and cupboards are labeled for your convenience and lots of open shelving helps you easily find what you need. We have great neighbors who help us with the house and are available when we are not. Our hope is that you’ll make yourself at home at Postcard Place and relax, stay, and enjoy creating lasting memories at this special place. Guest access You'll have access to most of the house with the exception of a few locked closets where we keep our personal belongings. Other things to note Please read through all the house rules before booking, so we're all on the same page! As a reminder, there is no smoking/vaping allowed anywhere inside OR outside on our property and our home is not suitable for pets of any kind. We list our home as "not suitable for children" because we have antiques, open shelving, all white linens, and the fact that we do not have outlet covers, a crib, or other infant/child amenities. We want you to rest assured, knowing that Postcard Place has been cleaned and sanitized before you arrived. In addition, to reduce the risk of any illness: - A REME Halo whole-house UV air purification system has been installed. - High-touch surfaces like doorknobs, light switches, handles, bed frames, remote controls, etc. are cleaned with sanitizing wipes between guests. - Duvet covers (and other bedding) are washed between guests. - We provide extra cleaning supplies, sanitizing wipes, and a cell phone sanitizer for use during your stay.
