Pet friendly, oceanfront Nags Head cottage featuring large ocean decks, gazebo, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, an outdoor shower, hammocks. Every room has an ocean view~ the Upper Level has panoramic views of the ocean and Jockey's Ridge. Located on the edge of Nags Head's historic district, 'Cottage Row', the cottage is walking distance to Jockey's Ridge State Park's iconic sand dunes and soundside beach, Nags Head Pier, Austin's Seafood, Blue Moon, Mulligan's, and Dowdy Park for all. The space Every room has an ocean view! The cottage is a split level with three floors in addition to the ground level. The gated ground level has an outdoor shower and leads you to a gated private beach access~ well shaded with hammock and seating. On the ground level, upon entering gate, are steps (8) that lead to LL floor featuring a full bath, two bedrooms, one with a half bath. Bedroom #2 has a queen trundle bed (lower is a Full) and a half bath. Bedroom #3 has a queen bed and smart TV. The cottage's front entrance stairs leads you to the main (2nd) floor featuring the following: A well-stocked kitchen with table, an island with seating, doors leading to a deck overlooking the ocean; The master bedroom (queen) has a full bath, TV, and doors leading to a semi-private deck facing the ocean. The Upper level is a great room with a large screen TV, a table for eating, two comfy couches, panoramic views of the ocean and Jockey's Ridge and has doors leading to the large deck and gazebo with private stairs leading to the beach. The cottage's style is an eclectic mix of mid-century modern, antiques and cottage chic~ all chosen for comfort. All floors are either wood or tile, all walls are pine tongue and groove, the living area/dining/kitchen has an open floor plan with beamed cathedral ceilings and wall to wall windows giving an airy feel. The cottage adorns its walls with art created from local artists, and her shelves holds books about Nags Head and the Outer Banks. Last but not least: the cottage is pet friendly and has scratched floors to prove it! I always wanted to bring my dogs to the beach on vacation so for the time being, I'll continue to allow pets. There are gates as needed to keep your furry friend close and safe. Guest access All spaces Other things to note The cottage has many stairs: stairs that lead you up to the cottage, and up to the Upper Level, and down to the beach, and back up to the shower and again up to cottage... If you have issues climbing stairs, be advised!
