Funky Lil’ House in Sylva -dog friendly

Cozy, quirky, & small (450sq ft) house with a very comfy sleep number queen bed in the bedroom. If a third person were so inclined, they could sleep on the couch. Fully stocked kitchen. Not a scenic location but very convenient! Sylva is amazingly located in the mountains only 25 miles to Smoky Mountain National Park, 10 miles to Cherokee NC, 40 miles to Asheville NC, gorgeous drives in every direction. Well behaved DOGS ONLY welcome for an additional fee. The space The house is in East Sylva and is very central to most places you'll want to visit. The house is on a busy street & is not very scenic, but it is extremely covenient. It's even walkable to cute historic Main St (though some of the route does NOT have sidewalks) with lovely shops, restaurants & several breweries. Sylva is very close to Western Carolina University, Maggie Valley, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Cherokee & the Qualla Boundary, innumerable great hikes & I hear amazing trout fishing (though I know nothing about that personally!). The house is not fancy but has great charm & is very cozy. The bedroom has a Sleep Number queen mattress with a tempurpedic overlay. A third person could sleep on the couch, if they were so inclined. The kitchen is fully stocked for your use, including a small coffee pot. There is WiFi and a TV with Netflix. The small washer in the bedroom closet is currently out of order, though the dryer still works . Well behaved DOGS (no other species pet) are welcome for an additional $40 fee. If you plan to bring one, please let me know. Sometimes Air BnB adds the fee automatically & sometimes not. If not, then I'll send you a message. There is plenty of room for parking of two large cars (or more), but the entrance is a little tricky. Will email pics & explanations after booking. There is a mini split in the bedroom that keeps the whole place a comfortable temperature, along with a ceiling fan in the bedroom. The remote for the mini split is on the wall in the bedroom next to the window, please keep it in the wall mount so it doesn't get lost. You can adjust the temp with the +/- buttons. If you have any issues, the manual explaining the various functions is on the nightstand. I am NOT open to long term rentals. Please do not bother to ask. Sorry but it doesn't work for me. Guest access You will be renting the entire house. Other things to note The house is on Skyland Drive which is a relatively busy road for the town of 2,000. There is some road noise audible inside the house. There is a fan in the bedroom that creates great white noise to mask any traffic noise.
