Please read the following _carefully_ for important policies effective for reservations booked November 20, 2020 until further notice. We are sorry to inform our guests that as a result of Airbnb's new mandated host agreement to their "Enhanced Cleaning" guidelines, guests booking our properties through the Airbnb platform will be unavoidably impacted by the following: 1) Guests booking via Airbnb will no longer be offered the use of kitchenware (dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc.). These items will be left in the unit, but please plan to bring your own kitchen equipment for your stay. 2) Typical check-in time for guests booking on Airbnb will be delayed from 4 pm until 5 pm, no exceptions. It is unfortunate that we are no longer able to offer the same amenities/value that our guests who book via Airbnb have enjoyed over the years. Since we first began Almost Paradise Lodging at Mt. Rainier in 1999, our guests have consistently given us top ratings on our cleaning and sanitizing practices both pre-Covid-19 and since the pandemic began. One of the ways in which we are able to keep our cleaning costs low, offer same-day-turnover and stock fully equipped kitchens/kitchenettes is by requesting that guests wash their dishes/run the dishwasher (if available) prior to their departure. This practice has been standard for vacation rentals in our area and our happy guests have proved this to also be a good practice. Guest access The Sunrise Guest House is not shared. Maximum occupancy is two people. The base rate is for one or two people. Other things to note Sunrise Guest House is a self-catering independent stay. The Sunrise Guest House is considered/classified as a guest suite. "Guest suites have a private entrance and are inside of or attached to a larger structure like a house or garage. These are sometimes called in-laws." The Sunrise Guest House is extremely private, as there are no common walls. Guests will be respectful and care for the guest house as they would care for their own home, or better, and will leave the guest house in the same condition as found at the time of arrival, including the washing of dishes if used. We will wash linens and towels, change bedding, replenish towels, remove garbage, vacuum and clean floors and disinfect the kitchen and bathroom fixtures between stays of guests. Quiet time is 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. Campfire wood is available for purchase at the country store in Ashford if you would like an outdoor campfire. We provide fresh coffee beans. For health department reasons we do not provide open containers of food products such as oil, condiments, etc.
