This award-winning family-run B&B is set opposite Lake Windermere in a 19th-century property which was the former gatehouse to Storrs Hall. Free-range eggs from Bannerigg Farm in Windermere, hand-made large Cumberland sausage and AA grade bacon are supplied by the award winning local butchers Plumgarths. Storrs Gate is less than a mile from Bowness-on-Windermere, with a stunning lake close by. There is a lot to do in the Lake District, including fishing, walking and cycling. Far Sawrey - Bowness on Windermere ferry Nab is a 5-minutes walk away, where guests can explore the western side of Windermere and Wray Castle is 3-miles away.
