Private Room in lovely home close to Mission Bay in San Diego. Nice, Warm, Beachy atmosphere features a Private Backyard with Jacuzzi, BBQ, and Peaceful Outdoor Spaces in a Serene Tropical Setting. Great location in quiet residential neighborhood with ample parking and easy access to all Beaches, Sea World, & Balboa Park w/ it's wonderful Museums, Theaters, and the San Diego Zoo. Only a 10-minute car ride to Downtown San Diego, Pet-Co Park, the Airport, and fabulous Shopping. The space Two private bedrooms, as well as the living room with a sofa bed and two couches, can be made available if you are looking to rent the entire house and sleep between 6 and 8 people in a lovely comfortable single story home in a very centrally located area of San Diego, extremely close to Mission Bay and Pacific Beach. This means incredibly easy access to several beaches, as well as all the main freeways that zip you all around the city..... and only a few minutes drive to both Sea World and Fiesta Island’s fabulous dog park. Each of the two bedrooms comfortably sleeps up to 2 People. - **The Master Bedroom is the main room I rent out, and the he only one I offer for rent when I am home. It has a private bath w/ shower, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and features great natural lighting as well as a brand-new very comfortable Queen-size “Beauty-Rest” bed. ** The Second Bedroom has private use of the main bathroom with tub-shower and is just a few steps across the hallway. It also has a very comfortable new Queen-size “Beauty-Rest” bed. This room provides a view to the private tropically landscaped backyard. ** A third sleeping area is available in the living-room, which features a sofa-bed w/ a double-sized mattress, as well as a long couch and a reclining loveseat. - This is a great if you need extra sleeping room should you require additional space to accommodate other family members or friends when renting the entire house. Guests have access to all common areas, including living-room w/ large flat-screen TV, an open kitchen and dining area, and the magical & relaxing tropically landscaped backyard. The partially-covered patio is a wonderful place to sit with your laptop, lounge in the sun, or to enjoy a nice meal or ice cold drink. The PRIVATE backyard features a fabulous Jacuzzi Hot Tub that is kept nice and warm throughout most of the year, and the patio has an outdoor BBQ and dining set for guest use, as well as a large grassy area w/ a comfy padded double-lounger. I can also provide one or two big shade umbrellas if requested. Hi speed WiFi is available throughout the home and on the porch and patio. Cable TV is also available, as is a DVD player and Roku for watching movies in the living-room area. Laundry is available for free for guests staying 3 nights or more; otherwise there will be a small fee of $3 per load. Please help yourself to snacks in glass canning jars in the pantry, fruit in the hanging basket, and coffee or tea from the Keurig. Extra space can easily be made in the pantry or the fridge for your personal food items as well. Guest access Host is available most of the time to answer questions, usually just a phone call or text message away; However when working I may need a little extra time to return a call due to the nature of my work. With some advanced notice, I can also help you plan your days in San Diego to help you be the most efficient in using your time the ways that are most important to you and your individual preferences. I am also connected to a couple of Uber & Lyft drivers that would consider being your personal chauffeur or providing airport rides for a flat-rate fee. During your stay Depending on my availability, I would love to take you on a private day tour if you would like to schedule something with me in advance. I can also show you some of San Diego’s most special features "the local's way" on a private tour if there are particular types of activities that you are specifically seeking. Full-day and half-day personal tours can be booked with me for an additional fee, the cost depending on your desires and whether we would be using my vehicle or yours. Other things to note Currently, I am down to only one dog, “Arrow.” He is very friendly and loves to interact with my guests, as well as all other canines.... however, he does have a rather strong natural “prey drive” so you would not want to bring your pet cat or bird to my home or it may become his next meal. ;-) I will definitely consider guests bringing a dog with them if we could discuss the specific needs and habits of their pet in advance.
