Description

Looking to unplug and escape into nature without being to far from good food and local charm? Just one mile down a beautiful bumpy gravel dirt road (AWD/4WD recommended) you'll find this little hidden gem of a Cottage surrounded by towering trees and the calming sound of running water right outside your door. Its a peaceful place where you can slow down, breathe deep and reconnect with yourself, your partner in the beauty of the natural world. A Perfect, Peaceful, Rustic, Remote getaway! The space The Cottage is the perfect Mountain Bike retreat or Romantic Getaway for 2. The luxurious Queen bed is very comfortable and nestled close to the flickering fire place. The room is vaulted and makes the room feel spacious and airy. The living room has a very comfy couch and day bed perfect for cuddling or reading a good book. Watch the 50 inch smart T.V. or relax on the deck or in the pretty garden out side. The kitchen is stocked with all things necessary to cook or bake your favorite meals. A full size refrigerator, stove and dishwasher make the kitchen convenient and a pleasure to work in. The wall AC and propane wood look heater keep the Cottage cool or toasty warm. There is cozy outdoor seating on the deck with a propane fire pit. There is a desk and satellite high speed internet for working remote in a quiet, remote, breathtaking setting. I received this review from a recent guest. It speaks volumes! Thank you Ricardo! (And no I didn't pay him to write this review hehe) "If you're looking for a peaceful and quiet setting, this cabin in Avery, CA is the perfect getaway. From the moment you step inside, you'll be struck by how impeccable and clean everything is - it's clear that the owners take great pride in maintaining this property to the highest standards. I've stayed in a lot of Airbnb's over the years, and I have to say that this is one of the nicest I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. The cabin is cozy and inviting, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is spotless, and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking meals. One of the things I loved most about this cabin is how quiet and peaceful it is. It's the perfect place to unwind and relax, whether you're curled up with a good book by the fire pit or taking a walk through the nearby woods. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful, and there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy if you're so inclined. My favorite place!" Guest access The Cottage is it's own separate space. It is not shared in anyway. Other things to note Mountain Biking: There are 2 mountain bike shops within 5 miles of the Cottage. They can guide you as to the best biking in our area! We have miles and miles of gravel road with little to no traffic and tons of single track for all levels. An E-bike is perfect for this area. From the Cottage you can ride off road for 25 miles one direction. We boarder 25,000 acres of wild land. Breath the fresh air and melt your cares away along one of the epic trails. Eat, Sleep and Ride!!! The Cottage is the ideal spot for a scenic rest after a full day of riding. Keeping with Beers 'n Bikes Philosophy there are a few very good brewpubs close to the Cottage. SnowShoe Brewery in Arnold is an 8 minute drive up the hill from the Cottage and The Pour House or Watering Hole in Muphys a 15 minute drive down the hill from the Cottage. All great options, to hang out, have a cold one and talk about your epic ride! Electricity : The power company (PG&E) may turn off electricity due to fire hazards or snow conditions at certain critical times. This is just part of life in the area. If this happens, no refunds will be given for bookings. However, I will work to make our guests as comfortable as possible under the circumstances.
