Lyndon home recently renovated throughout with warmth and brightness in mind to make our guests feel welcome and warm even in the cold winter months. We are 0.5 miles from downtown East Burke and the Kingdom Trails trailheads and less than 3 miles from Burke Mountain. VAST Snowmobile trails are nearby. After your mountain bike ride, stroll down to our private river front! The space The house is cozy, bright, and comfortable, and is well-suited for outdoor activities. Gear can be stored in the oversized detached 2 car garage; there are hanging bicycle racks provided. The kitchen is well-equipped with a full set of eating, cooking, and baking supplies. Guest access Guests may use the entire house, deck, garage, yard, and the river, accessed via a mowed path. Other things to note Cancellations: Please note our cancellation policy prior to booking. Answers to FAQ: There is no AC; the house is small and cools down easily at night with fans and open windows. We have lots of fans for you to use, and the shade over the kitchen window is particularly useful for afternoon sun. There is a separated corner bathtub in the master bathroom which is out-of-order; it is old and not able to be fixed unfortunately. The shower in the master bathroom, as well as the shower and bathtub in the smaller bathroom, are fully functional. As noted in the listing, the house is next to a main road; you can expect some road noise from passing cars and the occasional logging truck. We have one neighbor nearby, and we ask guests to avoid loud outdoor noise at night.
