Description

Kinderhaus Folk Art Museum, an extremely sweet and crooked house from 1770 full of art and antiques, is located in the historical village of Kinderhook, just a few minutes’ walk from several cafés, excellent restaurants, antique shops, library, bank, and Jack Shainman’s gallery, “The School”. It’s also just a short drive from marvelous Hudson and all of it’s antique stores and galleries, many local organic farms and farm shops, as well as the Shaker Museum and Shaker Village. Guest access Guests can access the main floor and upstairs as well as the outside patio, front porch, and lawn. (The details may vary depending upon which room[s] are available….. Sometimes guests may have the upstairs bedrooms to themselves, or the downstairs bedroom: please feel free to write to me with any questions about which rooms are free!) During your stay I’m available either in person, or by telephone or text: the only time I may not be available is when I’m sleeping!!! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns!
