The resort consists of 13 unique, quaint & simple cottages all built in the 1920s, a large 2,800 square foot main house, as well as a separate 1-bedroom apartment all, nestled on 5 private acres with 350' Duck Lake frontage and 600' on Mason Creek (a registered trout stream), Brookside is truly a piece of heaven on earth and you are only minutes from downtown Traverse City, Interlochen Arts Academy, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Lake Michigan and area attractions. Cottage #5 “Brookside” is a 2-bedroom cottage with views of Duck Lake and Mason Creek. Cottage 5 sleeps up to 6 people in its 2 Full XL bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Bedrooms do not have doors but do have privacy curtains. Guests provide their own sheets, pillowcases, and towels. An optional linen package can be added for a small fee. Each cottage has its own private bathroom with a shower. The kitchen has a gas range, fridge with freezer, coffee pot, microwave, dishes, drinkware, cutlery/utensils, and basic pots/pans. Cottage 5 has a kitchen table and chairs. Outside, each cottage has its own charcoal grill (and grilling utensils), picnic table, and a fire pit. Guests provide their own charcoal and campfire wood. Cottages all have heat and AC. Cottages do not have wifi or TV. Coin laundry is available on the property. Amenities are shared amongst all guests of the resort.
