The space We are Artists...and would love to meet Artist friends so come and stay with us we are located far from the maddening crowd...on top of a mountain on 250 acres overlooking the Eagle Cap Mountains of Eastern Oregon ...elk, antelope and deer pass our door step watch eagles and raven soar above... the perfect place to sketch, paint ,write and take photos and hang out. We are off the grid and green and non smoking and have all the comforts ...the freshest air and water a night sky to behold... nice beds and sheets . The bnb is not suited to Children... artsy and eclectic ...classy and fun we are artists and love what we do ......can go on there is so much more ...we are open June to October ..our rates are for two per room ....We have 3 rooms one with private bath and 2 with shared bath. ...very artsy and rustic...please call for more information. Well behaved dogs are welcome to play with our Golden retrievers and enjoy the freedom of our bb. Relax on our porches .... go explore hike, work on your projects or walk... our town of Halfway has a bank, restaurants , 2 supermarkets, antique shops and a wonderful thrift store we also have the Pine Eagle Clinic if needed (we hope not) Hells canyon is a great place to explore and jet boat tours are available.... also white water rafting....in the spring the mushrooms want to be picked in our awesome forest and cooked in our beautiful kitchen...with Babette ...reservations for Dinner may be made at time of booking the room ...starting at $40 per person and it is served family style....alcoholic beverage not included. We are located 180 miles west of Boise Idaho 360 miles east of Portland Oregon and 53 miles from Baker City ... our driveway almost 2 miles up a gravel dirt road to the top and a 4x4 is the vehicle of choice.You may also fly into Halfway if you own a small aircraft and we will pick you up. During your stay Friendly... and guests must like dogs we have 4 ..they are well behaved and friendly....we will be here during your stay... The house is located 3 miles from Halfway we have NO neigbours and our road is rough and 1 1/2 miles up hill and steep a 4x4 car is needed. Dinners are extra ...and must be made at time of booking starting at $40. per person..Family style.
