The space Cosy Two-Bed Home, Buxton – Peak District Gateway Welcome to our cosy two-bedroom home in Buxton, perfectly placed for enjoying everything the town has to offer and exploring the beautiful Peak District. Comfortable, welcoming and well equipped, the house sleeps up to four guests and makes a lovely home from home for couples, families or friends visiting the area. The space Downstairs you'll find a cosy living room with a comfortable three-seater sofa, two armchairs and Smart TV – a lovely place to relax after a day exploring. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for a self-catering stay, along with a dining table and seating for four. A door from the kitchen leads to the shared rear yard, where there is a simple outdoor table and four chairs for guests who would like to sit outside. Upstairs there are two comfortable bedrooms – one double and one twin – along with a modern family shower room. As is typical of a traditional terraced property of this age and style, the staircase is steeper than you may find in a modern home. All bedding and bath towels are provided, and a travel cot and highchair can be provided on request. The location One of the things our guests love most about the house is its location. Buxton town centre is within easy walking distance, with the beautiful Pavilion Gardens, Buxton Opera House, shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants all close by. The house is also ideally placed for getting out and exploring the Peak District, whether you're planning days of walking and cycling, visiting pretty towns and villages or discovering some of the area's best-known attractions. Bakewell, Chatsworth House and the Monsal Trail are all within easy reach, making Buxton a fantastic base for a Peak District break. Parking Short-stay on-street parking is available directly outside the house, which is particularly handy for unloading luggage. Free on-street parking can also be found nearby, subject to availability, and Market Street public car park is just a short walk away. Guest access You'll have the whole house to yourselves during your stay, with self check-in making arrival simple and convenient. Guests also have access to the shared rear yard, with an outdoor table and four chairs. Other things to note The house is a traditional Buxton terraced property, so the staircase is a little steeper than you may find in a modern home. The rear yard is shared rather than private. Parking directly outside the property is limited to 40 minutes between 9am and 5pm, which is useful for unloading luggage. Free on-street parking can usually be found on nearby streets, subject to availability, and there is also a public pay-and-display car park around 120 yards away. If you're bringing a travel cot or would like us to provide one, please let me know before your stay. A highchair can also be provided on request.
