Clearly Hidden Acres Cottage and Farm

Clearly Hidden Acres is a six-acre homestead located right in the middle of a quiet residential area in Valley View. The cottage shares the property with a main residence, three horses, chickens, cat and two dogs—and we welcome your pets, too. A queen-sized pull-out bed is in the Living Room. Please be aware that the natural swimming pond-pool is within the fence boundaries of the cottage. Children must be attended to AT ALL TIMES. There is a back entrance. Check in: 4pm Check out: 11am The space You'll have access to the yard and six acres around the cottage, fenced and un-fenced. The horses and chickens are easily accessible and you’re welcome to visit the stables. Gate-less fence pass throughs allows access to the pastures and pond. We stock fresh eggs in the refrigerator before you arrive and more are available daily if you'd like. Two dog bed mats are hanging in the laundry room closet should you need them for your pet. A Pack-and-play is also in the cottage for an infant if neccesary. We take care of pooper-scooping around the fenced in area. Guest access The natural pond-pool is available to guests. Just know that it’s a natural habitat for a few frogs and other little critters that you’d find in a creek or lake. This is more pond than pool so be extra careful entering and exiting (the steps are extra large BUT ARE VERY SLIPPERY). We ask that you sit on the edge and enter (or jump right in off the dock) until you get acclimated to the slippery bottom. We also recommend wearing swim shoes for better traction. You might find yourself swimming with one or more of our dogs. Your dogs are absolutely welcome to swim. This is NOT a chlorine or salt pool. It is a different, more natural experience. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us in advance of booking. Other things to note Our driveway begins at the end of the street. If the gate is closed, just drive up to it and it will open automatically. Same for leaving (just leave room for the gate to swing open towards you) A code is not required. CHA is located in a dry county (yes, this is a thing). Most restaurants have a bar. Liquor and wine is not available at grocery stores, but can be purchased at liquor stores out of the county (about 15 minutes from the cottage). NO smoking or vaping inside. If you must, please use either porch on the cottage (dispose of butts in outside garbage can). Additional cleaning charges will apply if guests do not adhere to this policy.
