Guest house in Austin

Our modern barn guest house sits behind our 1906 Victorian house in downtown East Austin. Vintage charm with contemporary finishes and everything you need for a luxurious stay in a prime location in Austin's hip east side. An easy walk or a short ride to just about everything: Rainey Street, 6th street, East side bars and restaurants, Lady Bird Lake hike and bike trail. Less than ten minute walk to the Austin convention center and downtown. 5 minute drive to South Congress. The space Comfortable, well-designed living space with vintage furniture and luxurious amenities throughout, including eco-friendly green tea infused foam mattresses, Parachute sheets, filtered water, local coffee + French press, and woven baskets + Turkish towels for swimming at Barton Springs or shopping at the farm stand nearby. LIVING SPACE: Open floor plan living space has ample space to relax with a vintage sofa and a daybed that converts to a twin size bed to sleeps one person comfortably. Just let us know upon booking and we will set it up with bedding. Large TV with Netflix. Full sized closet with plenty of hangers, and a full sized stacking washer and dryer. LOFT: Accessed by a built-in ladder, the spacious sleeping loft has a queen bed and a meditation nook with velvet cushions and a Moroccan rug. KITCHEN: The well appointed, full kitchen features a farmhouse sink, Smeg refrigerator, plenty of cookware and a mix of vintage and artisan glassware, mugs and plates. Coffee station has a french press, a coffee grinder, locally roasted coffee beans and matcha green tea. BATH: A full sized bathroom off of the kitchen, with walk in shower. Luxurious finishes include handmade cement tiles and a custom woodwork vanity. Guest access Our yard is shared between the main house and the guest house, but we recently added a private gated yard for guests to enjoy. Our dogs will stay out of this area, but just know that our dogs may be outside in the main yard from time to time.
