This bedroom in One Curious Hauz is centrally located- less than a mile to the U of I main quad, bus lines, and downtown Urbana where restaurants and shops are located. Thanks for your interest! The space Welcome to One Curious Hauz! This 90 sq ft room features a queen-sized bed. The room comes furnished with a desk and chair, dresser and closet. Bedding is provided (pillows, sheets, duvet and duvet cover) and will be washed between each guest. This room shares an adjoining bathroom with another bedroom (Jack and Jill style). The door to the bathroom can only be locked from the bedroom side. Please ask if you do not understand this setup. There is no lock for the main bedroom door. The house has central cooling and heating, and is equipped with wifi. One Curious Hauz was built in 1908 - it is charming, but as a 109-year-old house, is by no means perfect. This house is a shared living space. No smokers allowed. Guest access You’re welcome to access the common areas- kitchen equipped with basic appliances, utensils, and serving ware and living room with a smart 4K TV (Netflix, no cable). During your stay I'll be mostly around during the weekends, and happy to provide recommendations of things to do and explore in the Chambana area. Other things to note One Curious Hauz is an old house and am constantly improving it. It is an ongoing project which I am very passionate about. It is not without flaws. But if you are looking for a clean, comfortable room, and good amenities at a great location, you'd be very welcome here! Please note that this bedroom is beside the kitchen, and shares an adjoining bathroom with another bedroom (Jack and Jill style). The door to the bathroom can only be locked from the bedroom side.
