Toadstool Cabin - Diamond Lake Welcome to our cabin--private, secluded & 1/2 mile to the boat launch. Nestled among the Oaks/Pines/Dogwoods, the cabin offers electricity, running water (cold/seasonal), 2 single beds, basic kitchen items, ceiling fan & A/C (seasonal) & an electric fireplace. A fire pit & grills are available (propane & charcoal). The outhouse is only a few steps away from the cabin. Space for your boat. Newly added Outdoor Shower & Pets Allowed w/fee. Our cabin is primitive & rustic. Yes, we listed "outhouse" (no indoor toilet). Kitchenette offers a small fridge, microwave, full size coffee pot, plates, silverware, cups/glasses pots/pans/cast iron skillets & utensils. Two outdoor grills on site (propane & charcoal), we provide the propane, but not the charcoal. We provide TP (not the waxed paper stuff), paper towels, hand towels, paper plates, coffee filters, dish soap & a few condiments (S&P, Oil, Flour & Sugar). The beds are a sponge mattress with a 2" memory foam topper covered with a fitted sheet - please bring your own bedding & pillows (maybe even some blankets...depending on the season). Other items located in/at the cabin include: games, puzzles, books, maps & life jackets. Don't forget beach towels, bug spray, lawn chairs, sunscreen & flashlights. The cabin is a perfect place for reconnecting with nature!! Diamond Lake is just down the road, feel free to bring your kayaks, canoes, boats, air mattresses etc etc ... there is plenty of space for parking and launching. Fun in the sun & a great place to fish (a Arkansas Fishing License is required) There is a City Map in the cabin to help you get around. There are a few areas where you may lose cell service, but for the most part it is available in all areas (depending on your carrier of course). The cabin is located on our 20 wooded acre property/primary home - we are within minutes of any needs you might have. Location: We are located practically on a dead-end street...with no access out to the East of the cabin. So, anytime leaving the cabin...exit the same as you entered. The Cabin is located less than 3 hours from Little Rock/AR, Springfield/MO & Memphis/TN. Horseshoe Bend is a quaint little town, which offers all your needs for gas, groceries & goodies. Horseshoe Bend has several lakes for fishing, swimming & boating. If you have the need for speed - that would be Crown Lake which is within minutes. Neaby: Strawberry River, Spring River, Flea Markets & More. Horseshoe Bend is quiet & peaceful to enjoy walking & biking...just about everywhere!!! Pets: We now allow pets, because we know how special they are to you (dogs only & well behaved please). Pets will need to be leashed when outside between the hours of 10am & 7pm, as that is when our chickens roam free. FYI: There are other dogs in the neighborhood.
