The space Woodys Bungalow is a Beautiful Key West style home that is a Natural Paradise for Salt and Freshwater Fishing, Scalloping, Canoeing and Kayaking on the beautiful Steinhatchee River and the Gulf. Centrally located to all restaurants, marinas, grocery stores and miscellaneous stores. Walking distance to several popular local restaurants and hangouts. If you need a place to park your boat, boat trailer or golf cart, no worries, there is plenty of space with this private yard. Enjoy the large private dock to fish or simply relax around the firepit. Dock is equipped with a Fish Cleaning Station (please no scallop cleaning because scallop shells can't be disposed in canal or garbage can). Enjoy sitting around the firepit. Grill your favorite meal using the charcoal grill and dine on large outside table overlooking the canal. If you going fishing in the gulf it is only a 10 minute no wake boat ride featuring nature at its best scenery. During the boat ride you will pass several marinas and restaurants if you need to eat, get fuel or bait. The canal and dockage is located behind our house sits on a tidal canal, off the Steinhatchee river. Dockage is most suitable for boats that are 22ft or less and all kayaks or canoes. Maneuverability is more difficult for larger boats. *Please note I can not guarantee dockage of boats if caused by a very low tide which is extremely rare or storm related event. This cozy home is beautifully decorated and has a large screened porch with a swing, rocking chair and table; a private balcony off of Master bedroom with lounge chair and couch, Highspeed Internet (fiber), Wifi, Large Smart TV'S with Firesticks in all rooms (60" Smart TV in living room), and a fully equipped kitchen including coffee maker and Keurig. King Master Suite boasts it's own private deck overlooking canal and has master bath with walk in shower. Queen Guest bedroom is adjacent to the second full bath with large shower/tub combo. Optional queen sofa bed also available in living room. Kitchen is fully equipped for all your entertaining needs that is stocked with silverware, pots, pans, grilling utensils, crockpot, coffee mugs and dishes/bowls/cups. Starter pack of garbage bags, paper towels, dishwasher pods and dish soap included. . Kitchen has electric stove top, oven, toaster, toaster oven, microwave, coffeemaker/Keurig, full size refrigerator.Bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Large capacity washing machine and dryer for all your laundering needs. Starter pack of laundry detergent included. Guest access Entrance is upstairs and access is with a code that will be given to you within 24 hours of check in. You will enter the 6 digit code (be sure you hear a beep each time you enter a number) and press the check sign to open door. To lock door when leaving press the check sign for a few seconds and you should hear it lock. Parking is available for boat, boat trailers Golf Cart or other large vehicles. Other things to note SCALLOP CLEANING IS STRONGLY DISCOURAGED ON PROPERTY because scallop shells cannot be disposed in the canal or garbage cans. We recommend you having your scallops cleaned offsite. There are several locals who clean scallops (look for signs posted). It is my understanding that Seahag accepts scallop shells but first confirm with them. If scallop shells are disposed in the canal or garbage cans, there will be a $250 fine and reported to Airbnb.
