Perfect Pair of Beachfront Cabins on Camano Island

Welcome to "The Sisters" on Tyee Beach, a pair of 70-year-old cabins lovingly restored for up to 6-8 guests. Travel ~1 hour North of Seattle to Camano Island (no ferry trip required) and enjoy 200 feet of private waterfront. Travel with friends or family and have a BBQ together in the courtyard or stay socially distanced with TWO charming cabins. Family and dog-friendly. Have a fire on the bulkhead, kayak, spot whales and seals, and awake to amazing views of the Cascades and Mt. Pilchuck. The space “The Sisters” cabins are named after a set of sisters who purchased the cabins together in the 1950s. They are rented as a pair. BIG SISTER Big Sister is a one-bedroom cabin with a full bath, kitchen, and living room. The bedroom is a lovely separate space that offers a queen bed with electric blanket, a remote-controlled electric fireplace heater, and gorgeous sunrise views. The closet is big enough to hold luggage and coats. Each bedside table is equipped with a power cube featuring USB and standard plugs. As you walk in, you exhale as you take in the coastal décor and joyful living of Tyee Beach, which shines through all the windows. The living room and open kitchen are the heart of the cabin. Grab a seat on the couch, which offers a full-size pull-out bed, or pull up a stool at the kitchen counter. There is also a versatile drop-leaf table that seats four when open. The bathroom includes a full bath with tub and heated floors. The kitchen is fully appointed with everything you need for an easy stay including oils, spices, Ziploc bags, kiddo dishes, and appliances like blenders, coffee pot, and a crockpot. LITTLE SISTER Little Sister is a studio cabin with so much charm you won’t want to leave. The queen bed has been raised a bit so you can lay in bed and enjoy a 180-degree view of the water. Each bedside table is equipped with a power cube featuring USB and standard plugs, and a reading light overhead. The kitchen is complete with new appliances: an oven, microwave, refrigerator, and all the supplies you need to make your beachside meals. A Keurig coffeepot helps start the morning. And for a family with kids, the kitchen is a great place for blow-up mattresses. This cabin also has a newly-renovated bathroom with a shower. THE PROPERTY We hear that the best part of this property is the 200 feet of private beachfront for you to explore. Look for crabs, skip rocks, watch Great Blue Heron land, seals looking for fish, and whales spray in the distance. Kites and fishing poles encouraged. We have just completed an exterior renovation that includes a new bulkhead patio with Adirondack chairs, a firepit, and seating by the water. This is the best place to watch for whales! There’s also a grassy lawn for games or water activities. ACTIVITIES There are two crab pots available for use while you are at the cabins. Bring your own paddle boards, kayak, or boat to drop them. Tyee Beach is a friendly place and long walks down the beach (both to the North and South) are recommended. Look for shells, crabs, eels, and all sorts of treasures washed up by the ocean. Guest access Guest will be able to access the entire space, which includes two cabins and the beach by way of a set of stairs. Other things to note In addition to a full-stocked kitchen, both cabins have dish towels, hand towels, bath towels, bed linens, a throw blanket, and beach towels for use.
