My place is close to public transport, parks, and art and culture. You’ll love my place because it's in walking distance to all of West Asheville's must-see spots, and a short drive to great hikes and waterfalls. The space The lavender room is a private apartment in the basement of a family home. You might hear us a little bit from the floor above, but otherwise with your own private entrance and bathroom- your privacy and your safety are secured. The room has a queen size bed, and a shockingly comfy futon. There is a flat screen TV with an Amazon fire stick from which you can access your favorite apps. The large east facing french doors that provide a lot of natural light. Notes: -The host has control over the air conditioning, because the house has central air and heat. If you would like the heat adjusted, feel free to message the host. Or use the fan, air purifier, dehumidifier or space heater provided. (The dehumidifier tends to make the warmer) -The portable stove top is available upon request. After some miss use by previous guests, it is not longer kept in the guest space. Guest access The space is yours to use as you need. The driveway can accommodate 1 car in the space directly in front of your front door. If you need additional parking, you can park in the street.
