Foothills Hideaway

Our cabin offers a great mountain getaway with a beautiful mountain view. We are centrally located to everything Eastern TN has to offer. When you're not exploring the Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, enjoy your mornings on the front porch watching the sunrise and evening sunsets sipping on your favorite beverage near the firepit. Please read our entire listing prior to booking. All Wheel Drive or a 4 Wheel Drive vehicle is required all year around. The space Our "Foothills Hideaway" is tucked away in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in Eastern Tennessee. The Smokies offer a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, tubing, rafting, swimming, waterfalls and more. With everyday shopping only 9 miles away, the cabin is also conveniently located a short distance (30 to 40 minutes) to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. Knoxville TN, Cherokee and Ashville NC are all less than 1 1/2 hours from the Cabin. Make sure to drive the scenic Foothills Parkway. Guest access Entire Cabin is available. Laundry room is available for use, please only use liquid laundry detergent. (Not provided) We suggest checking in prior to sundown. Our mountain roads can be tricky in the dark. Also, the gravel road coming up to the cabin is rough, not paved, gravel and steep. ( Did we mention that its in the mountains?) A vehicle equipped with All Wheel Drive or 4 Wheel Drive will be necessary. More specific instructions and directions are in the welcome letter once your booking is confirmed. Other things to note Please note there is no cable TV, we have a Smart TV with an antenna and limited channels. Limited satellite Wifi is available, it will be slower than you are used to and it is subject to weather conditions. A dvd player with a collection of dvds is provided. However, we hope you come to our cabin to enjoy family and/or friends, the amazing scenery and the peacefulness of the mountains.
