Spacious welcoming 4 room apartment
Comfortable colorful apartment with large bedroom, full bath, kitchen & dining area, sitting room with library. Peaceful and homey. Lots of extras! A lovely quiet neighborhood convenient for parks, shopping, restaurants, highways and downtown. The apartment is nestled in the lower level of my home, and I maintain my home and garden as sanctuary space for the well being of myself and my guests. Besides wi-fi, I provide lots of extras - high quality toiletries, lots of pillows and towels, a towel heater, hairdryer - and ironed sheets! I have a pull-out couch and inflatable mattress with bedding for additional guests for a small extra fee. I also make available high- quality foods that meet your personal dietary preferences if requested, like pasture raised eggs, milk and butter in the fridge, a loaf of local bread, local preserves, and fair trade coffees and teas. I keep a 'green home', using non-toxic cleaning products and detergents (including my own home-made Soft Scrub) You have your own private entrance and the whole apartment to yourself, but Sophia, my gorgeous tricolor long-haired cat will pass through for inspection en route, via her secret passageway, to the unfinished basement where she insists her kitty litter is kept. You have access to the washer and dryer if needed, and in warmer months the gardens and patio. I make myself available to my guests to answer questions as needed, supply something you've forgotten or need (within reason!), and ensure you feel welcome. My guests' social calendar is often full when they come to Ann Arbor, yet I always enjoy an opportunity for conversation with my guests if it arises. It's a great neighborhood - you can walk down Easy Street to get to Buhr Park and Cobblestone Farm, and beyond to Malletts Creek library with its 'green roof. County Farm Park with its recreation center, is an easy walk or few minute drive away. Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and all the ethnic food stores and restaurants on Packard and Platt are within walking distance of about 10-15 minutes. You can get wherever you want to go easily. Cranbrook Road is a residential street with free on street parking. My home is also close to bus routes on Packard and Washtenaw as needed. Sophia, my gorgeous (rather aloof) tricolor long-haired cat will pass through for inspection en route, via her secret passageway, to the unfinished basement where she insists her kitty litter is kept. She is very discreet.
