The Garden Apartment has many amenities including free parking, AC, large clawfoot tub, washer/dryer, gas fireplace, HBO, cable and coffee. The space This is your own private apartment (approx 600 sq feet) in a lodge which has two other adjoining, but separated, private apartments. Each unique atypical designed unit, including yours, has its own private living space and amenities (your own kitchenette, loft with sleeping area, living room, bathroom, bedroom, etc.) with secure coded dead-bolt lock entry door. *This is a retreat type rental unsuitable for loud/rowdy/party type guests and designed for those seeking a tranquil, welcoming travel vibe. The rental is situated near other homes and other guests staying in the adjacent apartments. PLEASE NOTE: If any of the characteristics mentioned below are an issue for you, please consider them before booking: --We have polite signs & instructions posted in each unit. These reminders/signs are not intended to offend you, but due to a few prior guests who caused incidents. --Lodge's walls are not 100% soundproof. Please understand some muffled sounds do occur. The bedroom area is near the back walkway; if windows are open, you may occasionally hear people walking by. As an alternative, if you are concerned about complete privacy, there is also the upstairs loft/pullout queen size couch area for sleeping away from walkways. --If you or anyone in your party have impairment with mobility, this rental might not be a good fit due to its atypical architecture (i.e. small walkways and various steps throughout). --Unit is Heated & Air Conditioned by forced air programmed by NEST in winter due to shared aspects of home. There is also an adjustable cozy gas fireplace in living-room. We supply fans as well. - -Safety- carbon monoxide detectors, smoke detectors, and fire extinguishers are all equipped in the apartment. --Manager &/or owner oversees premises from detached garage office-apartment behind home, so you may occasionally see one of us out on the property. While being very respectful of your privacy and space--we're also friendly, happy to say hello and help with any questions :) -•NO DAILY MAID SERVICE: We use standard cleaning products for preparing the apartment for arrival for guest and staff safety (Lysol post guest checkout to disinfect, Pledge for wood furnishings, Clorox bleach disinfectant for bathroom, Murphy's Wood floor soap, Costco glass cleaner, Windex all-purpose disinfect for kitchen counters, and Mrs. Meyer's room spray, oxi-clean and eco detergent for linens). SUMMARIZED HOUSE RULES: --If at any time you have concerns about your stay or in regards to your neighbors, please call the 24-hour contact number listed posted in the Guest Information binder. In the event of an emergency, please call 911. --Rental not suited for loud, inconsiderate guests due to shared aspects, Bend's 10pm-8am noise ordinance (quiet/silent outdoor & hot tub usage during these hours) & surrounding homes. --Please do not show up with more guests than indicated on your reservation (even if they aren't planning to sleep here) unannounced without our prior written permission/approval via Airbnb's messages or the agreement is subject to cancellation. (i.e. do not book for "2 Guests" and show up with more. 4 Guest max occupancy) --No Pets- showing up with a pet subjects your reservation to eviction/cancellation. --Not suitable Toddlers/kids under 12 Non-childproof/soundproof due to shared aspects, retreat type vibe, other guests seeking quiet retreat stay and etc. No infants under 2 years old due to safety (see addl house rules). --No Smoking indoors-includes cigarettes, vaping, electric pipes. There are designated outdoor smoking areas. Regardless of who you are or where you come from, we are more than happy to open our doors to all friendly & respectful persons. **High Season & some holidays require a 3+ night stay minimum** Guest access Shared and open to all guests: Hot Tub, Outdoor Grill, Decks, Laundry, Parking, Outdoor Walkways & Gardens! Other things to note There’s an Electric Vehicle (EV) Fast Charging Station conveniently located nearby just a half a mile from the Airbnb (.5 miles) and a block from downtown. Since it’s an older lodge, we do not provide EV Charging on the property. 2-night minimum stay required. For more than 2 guests, there’s an additional $10 per night fee. We generally do not permit Saturday arrival or departures as it's our cleaner's day off. Not toddler-proof. Some holiday have a 3 to 4 night minimum (i.e. during Xmas week, New Year's week, Labor Day, Memorial Day, President's Day, MLK Day, Thanksgiving, Independence Day).
