Joey’s Cozy Camper - Kayaking On a Mill Pond

Camper is located on a Marsh/Pond (NC Bird Sanctuary) behind our home. We offer kayaking, bird watching, and fishing via the town dock or by kayak. SMALL DOGS (under 20lbs) only ok. $25 each. Please check that you are bringing a pet even if it is a service animal as we have pets as well. Camper sleeps two in queen size bed. We live off a main rd. and close to I 40 so easy in and out and close to shops and restaurants. It is busy in the front but quiet in the back. The space Beautiful camper on a mill pond/marsh. The space is a 30FT Winnebago 30RE. It comfortably sleeps 2. SMALL DOGS ONLY The camper has a full bathroom and kitchen along with a private bedroom. Nature lovers and small pet owners will love this location as you are in a bird sanctuary and on a Mill Pond. Every season is beautiful. We have a Roku Smart TV as well as WIFI for your stay. Birding deck and all three fire pits are available for use when not being used by the other site on property. Large yard for pets (unfenced). Please clean up after your pets. We do have pet ducks that are free range so keep that in mind when bringing pets. There is one other site on property but plenty of yard space to share without feeling cramped. 5 Kayaks are also available (for free) if not being used by the other site. Kayaks cannot be moved off-site of our mill pond. Please be kind and if the other site is booked limit each excursion to 2 hours. We do not allow unattended dogs (even if they are in a kennel). Guest access We are right off Rt. 11 which is a fairly busy highway. However, toward the back it is a different world on the mill pond. We are across the street from Poston Baptist Church and have a large gravel driveway with signs for parking. "Tin City" is the shopping area 1/4 of a mile from the camper. Ice, Ice Cream and ATM are right across the street at Billy's. Walmart, Grocery Store and Gas are all within 1/2 mile. Downtown Wallace with many restaurants is a little over a mile away. Park in front of sign designated for the camper. Other things to note Wood is $5 for a wheelbarrow and we can bring it to your fire pit of choice. Just send us a message or let us know before check in how many you want and we will set up for you. Please do not leave camper AC running when you are out for the day. The AC will build up moisture and may stop running when you are actually using the camper.
