Privately-owned 2000 SF one-level home sits on a wooded corner lot conveniently located inside the entrance of Sea Pines Resort. This 3 BR, 2BA home was extensively renovated in August 2020, with inviting French-inspired coastal decor for a relaxing cozy feel. "Sea La Vie" chalet is within walking distance to grocery stores, shops, and restaurants. A short drive or bike ride takes you to the private Beach Club, housing oceanfront dining and bar, upscale facilities, and wide beaches. Bienvenue! The space "Sea La Vie" invites you to live life near the sea and enjoy the relaxing serenity of an open spacious accommodation. The circular driveway allows for easy access and private parking. Backyard is a quiet oasis offering a built-in fire pit with log seating, gas grill, patio dining, and swing. There is a unique courtyard inside the home with a 2-seat bistro set for you to enjoy morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Enter the front door to a spacious and open foyer, with a reading nook where you may curl up with a book for those rainy days. Straight ahead within view from the foyer is the inviting living room with vaulted ceiling, ceiling fan, 55-inch Smart TV, and large comfortable leather sofas. Two glass sliding doors give you access to the backyard and one side glass sliding door offers entry into the quaint courtyard. The open floor plan flows to the right of the foyer to a casual chic dining room with a round table with seating for 4, 2 additional upholstered chairs, a wet bar with beverage cooler, blue glass wine glasses, and a sliding glass door to access the courtyard. As you pass the dining room, enter a light-filled fully-equipped kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, plenty of dishes, cookware, and gadgets for the chef in you. Laundry is also housed within the kitchen for easy access. New soft close kitchen cabinets and backsplash were installed in December 2023, organized and labeled for easy access. There is a large center island with 2 bar stools, gas range, and an industrial 10-inch deep stainless steel sink which invite you to enjoy cooking your meals when not exploring the area’s many wonderful restaurants. The breakfast nook has an L-shape built in bench with custom 3-inch cushions with plenty of seating for you to enjoy breakfast and coffee together in the morning. It’s like being in your own French Patisserie! The Master Bedroom has a glass sliding door to the backyard and houses an ensuite sunlit-filled bathroom extraordinaire, with a doorless entry tile and glass rain shower as well as tub. You will be sure to enjoy relaxing in this space after a fun day at the beach. The "country-French fleur-de-lis" Queen Bedroom has a posturepedic mattress, a rattan reading bench, and 43-inch smart TV. Across the hallway is an airy and light bathroom with skylight, tile and mosaic rain shower, and Vigo glass sliding door. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds decorated in soothing comfort coastal tones to relax your little ones after the day in the sun and sand. Guest access You will have the whole house to enjoy. Our home is inside the gated community of Sea Pines. When you arrive, you will be required to stop at the gate entrance and pay $20-$30 per car ($20 during non-peak, $30 for peak/summer/special events). This rental guess gate pass will be good for one week. We will provide you a unique code to serve as your "key" to access our home via electronic keypad. *Check-in time will be 4pm. Check-out time is 10am. We are blessed with a wonderful housekeeping staff, and appreciate guests who follow our check-out time and procedures. Thank you for your cooperation. Other things to note *$20-$30/car/week for gate access as a renter. $20 is during non-peak season and $30 is for peak/summer season and during special events. The payment is CASH ONLY to the gate guards. *In order to provide the utmost care to guests, we may ask our guests to provide additional information in order for housekeeping staff to help best prepare for your stay. We'll message you either via Airbnb messaging or text prior to your arrival if we need more information after your booking is confirmed. * There are no events or parties permitted at our home. Any guests above the occupancy limit of 6 needs to be cleared by us. *Bedrooms & Bathrooms: Linens are provided for the King, Queen, and 2 Twin Beds. Towels are provided and consists of the following per person, up to 6 people: 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel, 1 wash cloth. Bath mat, roll of toilet paper, travel-size shampoo/conditioner/body wash/lotion, and small bar of soap are provided, one per bathroom. *We have one pack-n-play available only by request. Please know that this is provided as a guest courtesy (typically for guests who fly), and come from our storage out in a box the same way the prior guest left it. We’ve been lucky to have the most considerate guests who typically clean it up, and get it all packed away for our next family. We have a mattress pad and a couple of sheets, but please bring your own if you wish. Our housekeeping staff do not provide or service linens for the pack-n-play. *Kitchen: Basic starter supplies include paper towel, trash can liners, dish towels, dish cloths, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent. *Kitchen/Dining Room Smoke Alarm: Our range is gas, so please turn the fan vent to high when cooking. The smoke alarm is sensitive for your safety, and any smoke inside the house especially the kitchen will trigger it. Feel free to close the hidden sliding door or open the windows should this occur to quiet the smoke alarm. Please do not remove the battery from the smoke detector. *Television: We have access through internet. To get live news & TV programs, please use YouTube TV. *We have both an outdoor fire pit as well as an indoor fireplace. There is typically some firewood already there for your use. If these amenities are what you enjoy and definitely plan to use during your stay, please let us know so that we can order more to keep wood stocked for you as well as the next guests. Please clean after each use of the fire pit and fireplace. *There is a gas grill available for your use. Please help us and our housekeeping staff by cleaning after each use. Cleaning spray and brush are provided next to the grill. *We provide 4 Tommy Bahamas chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, & some beach toys for use during your stay. If any of these are not usable, please contact us and we'll order replacements as soon as possible. We ask that you be patient with us should this occur as we depend on previous guests to let us know if something is not working and provide these additional items as a courtesy. Please make sure you rinse sand & salt water off before putting back in the storage for the next guests. Thank you.
