Walk out of your back door, through the original schoolhouse cloakroom to the white picket fenced back garden; carry on down two stone steps onto the sand of Pilot's Bay. A stone's throw from the beach. The space The heritage Schoolhouse was built in 1867 to provide a School to the Pilot's and Coxswain's children. Next to the water, overlooking Pilot's bay within Low Head Pilot Station. What is a Pilot? - A pilot expertly guides ships in and out of tricky areas of water. A Pilot Station is where they launch from to reach the ship. Low Head Pilot Station is a historical site, it is the longest active Pilot Station in Australia (since 1805) and is still active today. Within a spacious green national park surrounded by beaches and beautiful views. Perfect for groups and families.
