Next to the water, overlooking Pilot's bay within Low Head Pilot Station. What is a Pilot? - A pilot expertly guides ships in and out of tricky areas of water. A Pilot Station is where they launch from to reach the ship. Low Head Pilot Station is a historical site, it is the longest active Pilot Station in Australia (since 1805) and is still active today.
