This very comfortable private room with full bed, gorgeous bath, frig and microwave is also right in the Village, steps from Krause's Chocolates and Diamond Mills. A guest remarked that it was as close to a hotel experience as you can get on airbnb; and the hotel across the street charges 5-10X as much. And Saugerties Village Beach is public, and has great kayaking. Pet fee $40. The house has been completely, and I mean COMPLETELY renovated. I installed triple glazed windows so it's very quiet. Also it is soundproofed between the rooms and the floors. New bathroom, hope you like it. I hope you all have read the reviews about how "sparkling" clean my space(s) are. Just to clarify, I have instituted a 72 hour vacancy whenever possible of my rooms after they are occupied and vacated...then the cleaners will use viricide, alcohol, bleach and their usual cleaning products to make sure ALL surfaces including door handles, light switches, coffee maker, fridge and microwave and EVERYTHING ELSE is wiped down and disinfected. The 72 hour vacancy is to protect my guests as well as my cleaning people. The Beach, walking distance to great restaurants, galleries, Steps to Diamond Mills Hotel. Parking lot one door down, please park where it indicates "designated overnight parking". This space is downstairs. Early check-in, late check-out is sometimes possible. I have instant book, so if the space is not booked for the night before, or the night after I can accommodate you, there is a $40 fee for early check-in or late check-out. I do have a total of three spaces listed on airbnb in my home. Lost key $35 Pet fee $40. I prefer to give my guests privacy. I love to walk to the beach, put my kayak in and spend an afternoon peacefully exploring the beautiful Esopus Creek. I can also walk across the street for drinks on the deck of Diamond Mills - they do an excellent Sunday Brunch. And Miss Lucy's, O&Company, Bluestone Coffee, Salt & Fire, El Rancho and Annarella are all wonderful restaurants. Amtrak to Rhinecliff, Port Authority Bus to Kingston or Saugerties. Ulster County Bus on the corner. Local taxi is Stagecoach Taxi, $ 5 ride in town. 18 Hill St, Saugerties NY 12477. Right in town, so there is some traffic noise during the day. Put in brand-new triple glazed windows, so that cuts the street noise way down.
